Our favorites
Ostuni
Also known as ‘the white city.’ It is the closest major city to Casa Lucca. Ostuni is situated on a hill, so you can see it from a distance. In the evening, it is lit up in a fairytale-like way. Walk up through the winding streets and traditional shops toward the highest point, where you’ll find the cathedral and a stunning view of the Adriatic coastline.
Matera
It’s a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it! Matera is located in a valley and is best known for the Sassi, a neighborhood consisting of houses that are partially built into the mountainside. Picture-perfect! It’s also a familiar setting for the James Bond fans among us. In 2021, a scene from the movie ‘No Time to Die’ was filmed here.’

Alberobello
This is the place to visit on your first trip to Puglia. It’s a tourist hotspot, but no less beautiful for it. With trulli as far as the eye can see, this picturesque village is well worth a visit.

Known for its harbor with colorful fishing boats that stand in contrast to the
snow-white harbor walls.
Polignano al Mare
A little further north lies this coastal town, a picturesque village built on a series of rugged cliffs. Domenico Modugno, the most famous resident Polignano has ever known, left behind verses from the song ‘Volare,’ which you pass beneath as you walk down the main street.
Valle d’Itria
Located between the well-known towns of Alberobello, Martina Franca, and Cisternino, the Itria Valley lies at the heart of Puglia. A beautiful part of Italy that perfectly encapsulates the Puglian landscape. Enjoy the expansive landscapes with olive groves, trulli, and whitewashed towns.

Great space for two couples or two adults with young children who don’t mind sharing. We had two young adults, ages 17 and 22. One ended up on the Cousy, which isn’t ideal but works. The outdoor areas are beautiful. The location is a short drive from the local town and 25 restaurants.
A really nice place in a great location. Quaint and beautifully decorated. It completely lived up to our expectations.
Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, and the property was truly beautiful and relaxing. The kids loved the pool.
We’ve rented through Airbnb many times before, but this was by far the most beautiful vacation spot we’ve ever stayed at! The trullo house—a perfect blend of old and new, lovingly designed yet practical. And the garden with its many terraces, seating areas, ancient olive trees, barbecue, fairy-tale lights, and lanterns—a dream! The pool, always clean and clear, is wonderful for cooling off, and with a stunning view to boot… All in all, a little paradise!❤️
We had a wonderful stay at Monique and Jeroen’s beautiful trullo. Everything was made very easy for us, and nothing was too much trouble. There were two adults and two children (ages 7 and 4). We all loved the pool and the surroundings, which were beautiful. It was so nice for a family from London to stay in what felt like an orchard. We had a car, so we got around much of the region and enjoyed exploring. We highly recommend this excellent accommodation.
